The FLF team to attend the 65th ASH Annual Meeting

The Follicular Lymphoma Foundation (FLF) is excited to announce that our team will be attending the prestigious 65th American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting & Exposition in San Diego this December. As the world’s leading event in haematology, the ASH Annual Meeting brings together the top scientific and clinical minds in blood cancers, including follicular lymphoma.

Why are we going?

For the FLF, the ASH Annual Meeting presents a valuable opportunity to connect with experts in follicular lymphoma research, raise awareness about our foundation and mission, and demonstrate the growth and impact of our work. Our main goals for attending ASH 2023 are to learn, tell, and engage:

  1. To learn

We will hear directly from specialists working on cutting-edge scientific research aligned with our foundation’s priorities. This will help inform our future plans and direction.

  1. To tell

We will promote our foundation, showcase our progress over the past year, and share our ambitious vision for the future of follicular lymphoma research and support. This includes highlighting the work of our CURE FL Cycle 1 investigators and sharing news on our CURE FL Awards Cycle 2.

  1. To engage

We will network with our current researchers, attract new scientific talent to our grants programs, and build relationships with partners in industry and academia.

What will the team be doing?

Throughout the conference, the FLF will participate in sessions, workshops, exhibits and social events. We aim to grow our presence and reputation as a leader supporting innovative lymphoma and biomarker research. Our team will also be sharing updates and insights from the ground through our social media channels.

What are the outcomes we aim to achieve?

Key outcomes we hope to achieve at the 2023 ASH Annual Meeting include:

1. Meeting with researchers exploring lymphoma biomarkers

2. Strengthening existing partnerships in academia and industry

3. Forging new relationships with prominent researchers and industry

4. Developing a 2023 statement or white paper on the current state and future of follicular lymphoma research

Stay tuned!

The FLF team looks forward to an insightful and productive week at #ASH23, learning about the latest in follicular lymphoma science while forming meaningful connections to advance our foundation’s mission. We aim to return with bold new plans to drive research, education, and advocacy for the follicular lymphoma community.
