Tali & Ross’s fundraising story

Tali and Ross took on the incredible challenge of the Mongol Rally, a 10,000-mile dare-devil adventure across mountains, deserts, and grasslands in a tiny 1000cc car. Despite the absence of a set route or backup, they embarked on this journey to raise funds for the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation (FLF). And they did a magnificent job, raising an amazing total of just under £7,000!

The Mongol Rally is renowned as “the greatest motoring adventure on the planet,” encompassing a gruelling 10,000-mile journey from the Czech Republic to Mongolia. Although Tali and Ross were unable to reach the final destination, their rally took them through some of the most stunning locations across Europe and Western Asia, providing them with unforgettable experiences and the opportunity to meet remarkable individuals along the way.

We are incredibly grateful to Tali and Ross for their outstanding efforts in fundraising for the FLF.

Their decision to support the FLF was deeply rooted in their personal experiences, with both of Ross’s grandmothers and his mother having been affected by follicular lymphoma. This intimate connection motivated them to use their adventure to make a meaningful contribution to the foundation.

The success of Tali and Ross’s fundraising efforts is a testament to their dedication and the support of those who rallied behind them. The funds they raised will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the work of the FLF furthering research and support for individuals and families affected by this cancer.

By taking on the Mongol Rally and using this extraordinary adventure to support such a significant cause, they have not only raised a substantial amount but also shone a light on follicular lymphoma across the globe. Their dedication and commitment are truly inspiring, and we are deeply thankful for the impact they have made in raising awareness and vital funds for the foundation!
