Ben’s fundraising story

Baker with his Dog

Ben, a follicular lymphoma patient, embarked on an epic 5-day, 550km cycling journey from London to Paris this past September, raising an astounding £5,500 for the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation (FLF) along the way.

The gruelling London to Paris Bike Ride challenged Ben as he pedalled through the picturesque countryside of Kent, crossed the English Channel, and powered on through quaint French villages and medieval market towns. Ben did all of this during the record-breaking heatwave, motivated by his goal of supporting the FLF.

Thanks to the generosity of 86 wonderful donors, Ben more than doubled his initial £2,500 fundraising target. We are deeply grateful for Ben’s commitment and inspired by his monumental achievement. His journey demonstrates the power of what one person can accomplish through determination and compassion.

Funds raised by Ben’s ride will further the FLF’s mission to support lymphoma patients and drive research for improved therapies and potential cures.

We hope Ben’s accomplishment compels others to take on their own challenges to raise critical funds and awareness. Whatever your adventure, you can make a difference for lymphoma patients like Ben.

Thank you Ben for raising funds and spreading awareness for follicular lymphoma! Want to understand more about Ben’s FL journey? Read Ben’s patient story here.
